Who we are

evante is a staffing platform operated by Evante Platform LLC. Independent staffing agencies use evante to accept job applications, manage hiring, and communicate with applicants and workers.

When you apply for work through this site, you are applying to a specific staffing agency, not to evante. That agency decides whether to hire you and is responsible for your employment. evante provides the software the agency uses to receive and manage your application.

This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. If you have questions, contact the agency you applied to, or reach us at the address at the bottom of this page.

Information we collect

Information you give us when you apply

  • Name, phone number, email address, and mailing or city/state location
  • Date of birth and the last four digits of your Social Security number, used to verify identity and to avoid creating duplicate records
  • Government-issued identification information collected at intake
  • Work history, job titles, duties, and dates
  • Professional references and their contact information
  • Emergency contact information
  • Skills, equipment experience, certifications, and languages spoken
  • Shift and work-type availability
  • A resume, if you upload one
  • Your electronic signature, together with the date, time, IP address, and browser information recorded when you sign

Information collected automatically

  • Basic technical information such as IP address and browser type, used to keep the service secure and to create the audit record attached to anything you sign

Text message consent

If you choose to receive text messages, we record the date and time you agreed. Consent to receive text messages is optional and is not required to apply for a job or to be considered for one.

How we use your information

  • To process and evaluate your application for work
  • To contact you about your application, interviews, and work assignments offered to you
  • To match you to open positions
  • To carry out employment, payroll, and workers' compensation obligations if you are hired
  • To meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping requirements
  • To keep the service secure and prevent fraud or misuse

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.

Who we share it with

Your information is available to the staffing agency you applied to and its authorized staff. Depending on your application and whether you are placed, that agency may share your information with:

  • Payroll and employer-of-record service providers
  • Workers' compensation insurance providers
  • Businesses where you may be assigned to work, limited to what they need to receive and supervise you on site
  • Background check or screening providers, where applicable and with any consent the law requires
  • Government agencies, where required by law

We also use technology service providers to host and operate the platform. They process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Text messages

If you opt in, the agency you applied to may send you text messages about your application, interviews, and work assignments offered to you. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help. Opting out of text messages does not affect your application.

How long we keep your information

We keep application and employment records for as long as needed for the purposes described above and for as long as employment, tax, and other laws require. When a record is no longer needed, it is deleted or de-identified.

Your choices

You may:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong
  • Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we are required to keep
  • Withdraw your consent to text messages at any time by replying STOP

To make a request, contact the staffing agency you applied to. California residents have these rights under California law, and we will not treat you differently for exercising them.

Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including access controls that limit each agency's staff to that agency's own records, and restricted storage for documents such as resumes. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This service is intended for people seeking employment and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
